Your nickname is how your name will appear to the rest of the group. Feel free to use any nickname you wish.
If you are planning on using non-official (i.e. web sites other than CBS.com) web sites to do research on the outcome of Survivor episodes, please answer Yes to Cheating. This is fine, but you will be ranked separately from those that are not doing this

Your time zone information is used to determine when results are visible on the site. Results are embargoed until that episode of Survivor has ended in your time zone. There is nothing from stopping you from entering a false time zone to see the results early, but that would take the fun out of watching the show. So if you can't resist the temptation, enter your time zone accurately.

Currently the only video content on the site is within the OutPick'Em game. You may choose what level of video quality (or none at all) for the site to display. High bandwidth video will take longer to download.

You may optionally specify your gender. During the OutPick'Em game, messages and video may be tailored slightly for your gender.

E-Mail information
Your e-mail address will only be used for notification of vote reminders, message boards and system notices. It will not be given out to anyone or listed on web pages unless you select it to be. It will be used for verification in case you lose your password or username. A valid e-mail address is now required and you will be required to authenticate before you will have access to the system. The system will e-mail you an authentication link to the given e-mail address that you must click on before gaining access.
By default, your e-mail address will not be visible on any pages on the system. However, if you would like your e-mail address to be visible on the member list of your private tribe (if you are a member of such a tribe), you may enable it by answering Yes to the E-mail visible question.
If you wish to receive a reminder notice prior to voting deadline, select to have your reminders sent 1 day prior to the deadline, 2 days prior, or both. Reminder notices will be sent out at 10:00am ET on the appropriate days before the deadline.
Select whether you want any of the following types of e-mail to be sent: Message Board Posts - copies of your Private Tribe Message Board posts are sent to you; Tribal Council Message Board Posts - copies of the main Tribal Council Message Board posts are sent to you; Private Messages - Private Messages from other users are e-mailed to you
System Notices - this applies to important messages from the administrator and your tribe leader (you should generally keep this one checked)

If you have been invited to join a private tribe on Lance's Survivor Pick'Em, enter the group number you were given into the Private tribe # to join field and type the password you were given into Private tribe password field.
If you have not been invited to a private tribe, you can still play the game in the overall group, or you can start your own private tribe by using the Start a private tribe link on the main page!
